Flying near the Smokey Mountains

I will be staying around Greenville, SC next weekend for the eclipse and wanted to visit the Smokey mountains next weekend. Do any of you guys know of some good areas to operate from legally to get some good shots of the mountains? Thanks

I am also planning to go to smoky mountains.Do any of you fly your drone in smoky mountains I don't know its legal or illegal to fly our drone on state parks?

This reads that you basically follow federal park rules...can fly but no take off or landing. I've read another post where a park ranger said you have to get permission from them.
