Flying over Government Camp on the slopes of Mt. Hood

The gloomy clouds of an overcast day in early spring cloak the forest clothed feet of Mt. Hood. The grand monarch of Northern Oregon stands tall over the wooded highlands of the Cascade Mountains, and nestled amongst frozen lakes, ski hills, and snow covered meadows is the tiny tourist thronged hamlet of Government Camp.

I filmed this video last year - it was snowing/raining until around sunset, and unfortunately I only had a short window in which to fly, and to make matters worse my Mavic 2 zoom's camera had a hard time dealing with the failing light.

Beautiful footage. I found the Hood River/Mount Hood area absolutely beautiful and it doesn't hurt that there are lots of micro breweries in Hood River. Love me some Double Mountain
