The Wet Suits allow us to fly in some pretty severe weather, and despite the Veracity of the Storm capture some very clean footage in the Pouring Rain.
As you get more comfortable flying in the Rain, you learn the skills needed to get some really clean Cinematic Video or to show the severity of the storm.

Couple things of Interest: We have never wiped a single camera lens on any drone after a flight in the rain, it has never been needed. After a flight in the Rain we just put the soaking wet drone on the shelf and let it dry on its own, as the Neoprene dries very quickly. We get quite a few Video Testimonials of those using the Wet Suits in the Rain but most are not in the Pouring Rain so we hold back on showing them.

The Wet Suits offer many benefits , but perhaps knowing you dont have to Panic is one of the best.

This is impressive. How do you keep water from being sucked into the cool air intake by the cooling fan?

There is no Air intake on the Mavic 3 as that scoop up front that looks so Cool is just a nice Cosmetic Touch.

the hole on top of the mavic 3 - although it's just there for cosmetics - is still made with 2 separate parts and has a tiny gap in between where water could sip in - below it is the GPS module

No the cool Scoop will hold water as we show on some of the videos . You can Practice yourself just fill it up with water , it will be there a long time. We have sold hundreds of Wet Suits and no current Reports of water getting in on the scoop.

Key Note: When we did our full submersion test in the water the GPS Module was fine but not the ESC

What about the motors? Water doesnt sit in the gap around the C-port on the top?
One of the nice thing about the DJI drones is that all the Motors Used are Aluminum Brush Less Motors and are the Same Motors used the RC subs which are water proof. So the Motors will run underwater and never been an issue in any of the drones.

I failed to see your response to the question concerning the port at the top with your suit cut as it is, wouldnt water build up there and get into the port?

The Scoop on top of the Mavic 3 is Cosmetic and Water Tight.

The Water inside the Scoop will stay there for days.

Notice how the Water reacts to the Neoprene , it flushes right off instantly very cool.

You can see that the Scoop is holding water and there are no air bubbles.

Yes when you combine the Wet Suit for the Mavic 3 with the Rescue Jacket , you can get some interesting Cinematic Footage on the water as well .

Let me see if I can make it more clear for you. I never asked about the “Fin”. I asked about the c port where the modules attach. There is an opening in the wet suit and looks like water could accumulate and enter that port. See picture. 00394A03-E87E-4609-95BD-44F108EA54C7.jpeg

Sorry, On the Enterprise there is a C port and we use a Plug that goes over the top .
Its a Strip that just fits over it when not attached. it just fits inside and over the top, thanks for the clarity.

The Main thing is the RTK fits nicely and Snug in place.

Never heard of a wet suit. What does it look like? Where can one get one? What do they cost?

I watched a YouTube video showing the installation of the "raincoat" for the Mavic 3. First, it looks really mickey mouse. It doesn't cover the lenses. It doesn't cover the engines and it doesn't cover the camera. What it covers is leaves little holes for the obstacle lenses but I don't see how this protects from any water getting in. Maybe I'm missing something. These look like cheap stick-ons that aren't really worth what they charge for these kits. MAVIC RAIN COAT.jpg
