Problem solved. I am buying a pair of these and gluing them to my drone. Thus, my 'eyes' will never leave the drone.

Stay 100-200ft AGL on your rural, private property and you're more likely to suffer a meteor strike than run foul of the authorities for a VLOS violation.

No guarantee, of course. Personally, I'd make the same flights worrying only about something going wrong and losing my bird where I can't retrieve it.
