Follow/FPV function

Just spotted this in the function button settings, I just tried it in the air but it doesn't do anything. I guess it's ready for a future update?

Unlikely the Mini 2 will ever have a follow mode due to the lack of avoidance sensors - it would be flying blind.

The controller and app are used for a range of drones not just the Mini 2, so this is probably there for Air 2S etc.

I imagine its referring to gimbal follow which is the gimbal keeps the horizon level and FPV means the gimbal rolls with the aircraft.

Another vote for it switching between gimbal locked to the horizon or locked to the aircraft tilt, as @brett8883 suggests. I'm not a fan of the terminology, but that's what DJI call it.

Thanks for the info, I wasn't sure if the software was device specific or generic to all.
