I think I've covered the tri state area with the cities mentioned in the title...I'm new to the hobby ...Where do you fly in the area?

Just starting out... researching for my first drone purchase. Bullhead City.

I've started studying sectional maps to determine where I can fly a drone in this area. It seems there is very limited space to fly here due to the many designated wilderness areas, not to mention the restricted airspace around the airports. I live within 5 miles of the airport in Bullhead, and it looks like KIFP does not currently participate in LAANC, so approvals will be manual through DroneZone, which I understand to be 90 days turnaround. I'm feeling a bit disappointed and questioning whether to invest in a drone at all. Opinions, experience, advice??
