How Judge Judy gets a whole lot of cases:
You can't get an acting job unless you are in a union. You cannot join the union unless you have had an acting job that paid you money, Loophole, get on a tv show. ...So, There is a laundry list of stuff to write down as a complaint when people wanting their SAG card are Trying to get on Judge Judy for an appearance!

You still need a SAG card to work in Great Britain. Its Television and 90% of what you will see is pre-written for the participants. Channel 4 or not its still "reality TV".

The reference to 'Judge Judy' was made sarcastically, as that television program is as relevant to the reality of a legal process as trousers are to a carp.
