Freewell ND/PL Filters

I purchased the Freewell Bright Day 4Pack Filter Kit for Air 3 ND/PL for my Air 3. Absolutely love them. I do have a question though. The front part that spins, how do you know where to spin it to. I saw a video that had a H and a L on it but mine only has an L as far as I can tell. To use horizontal mode should the little line be pointed up? Thanks for any help.
