Front Red LED's

Hello everyone,

Just got my Air 2 today and really loving it over the Mini it's replacing. I flew it after dark today to test out the bottom light and check visibility of the other leds. What I noticed was a bit after flight had started (5-10 mins) the front red leds turned off. This seemed to not be related to mode. Is this expected behavior?

I don’t think so, but you can’t really see them in daylight so can’t confirm it.

Were you filming when the lights went out? I’m not sure about M2 but MPP that is normal to stop camera glare

That is most likely what happened, the front LEDs are turned off when the camera is recording. What's more, there is no option to keep the LEDs on with MA2 (unlike the MA1 or the Mavic 2s). There was a post a couple of days back about it

Questions needs answers please...going on a Drone flying outting.

(1) When I start the video recording the 2 front LEDs turn off... I need them on in most situations. I looked for an option to leave them on. Is there a option? (2) Obstacle Detection switch, can i disable the bottom sensors so the AC does not ascend when i fly over an object. Thanks my fellow...
