frustrated phone for viewing???

hi all, i recently purchased a mavic pro on boxing day sale, havent even flown it yet, i picked up a used iphone 5 to make a permanant screeen only to find the 5 isnt supported, my bad for not looking i guess, then i find a used sony z2 and this time i check and it says will work, so i go on the app store to download go app 4 and find out it says not compatible with my device, seriously???? i checked and googled and it says the sony z2 will work, it says not compatible with this version, do i need to find a older version of the app? if i update will it stop working all together, this is so frustrating, wish the controlle would have a screen built in this is very frustrating
