New pilot looking for legal places to fly in Fort Myers or FM beach area. Prefer less congested locations as I am a newbie with less than 8 hrs flight time.

U tried lovers key? Beach launch using north entry parking spot is close to you. CREW area Dome Trails are a ways from you out corkscrew but after some hikes there are big and small fields where you can practice your skills in privacy and safety. I avoid hikers and busy times out of courtesy, but found it nice place to learn the ropes of my mavic. Small private airfield few miles away for crop dusting etc , but flights rare and not over that area.

Thanks for your response. I'll look these places up. I'm going down for a week of golf but will have plenty of time available to get out with my new Mavic and get some practice in.
