I was out at the model field yesterday when a friend experienced a mechanical failure and put a model down in the woods. I had the Air3S with me, so I launched a search for the plane. After a few passes back and forth over the woods, about 50 feet above the treetops, I spotted the plane. Happily, it had played some tree pinball and come to rest on the ground with minor damage.
I was able to hover above the plane, about 300 yards away from the flight line, so he and another pilot could walk back and get it. I was bored waiting so I shot a short video panning down from the horizon down to the model. No post, just a neat view of the field.
