I personally don’t care if it’s IOS, Android, or powered by Wheaties. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and absolutely love it. The guy’s a dolt and just trying to create some false controversy.
I like IOS, I have an IOS phone as my daily device, but a device like the SRC would never work on IOS. There are some significant hardware limitations that would keep it from working as an IOS device and Apple has a *very* bad habit of modifying API's without properly notifying devs before hand. Couple that with their locked bootloader, no ability to set a true kiosk mode, inability to run low-level / native code, and the walled garden and you have an eco system that really won't work for DJI's needs.
I test mobile devices and mobile app security for a living and I would never buy a device like this that ran IOS simply because it can't be done without dealing with some very significant limitations.
