Geomagnetic Storm Warning

My weather app (eWeather HD, Android) is showing a Moderate Geomagnetic Storm Warning for Oct. 7th, 8th, and 10th.
Interesting if any increase in reports of compass problems on these dates.
Or any other increase in reports of control/connection problems for that matter.

Many thanks for the heads up, Ken. It might get interesting but I don’t believe I’ll be flying on those days.

Ignore it.
If there was anything to those warnings, you would expect to see hundreds of reports of misbehaving drones every time they come up.
But none ever come to light.
The warnings are irrelevant.
If there was an issue, it would be with GPS rather than compass.

Check space weather all you like but it won't have any effect on your drone flying.

Relax. I'm not saying it has anything to do with flying drones (I don't even own one yet), but if anyone wants to check it, thats a great place to visit. Maybe you're in a northern latitude and you want to know when you'll see aurora?

Weather apps don't always explain what is going on with space weather very well...
