Gimbal motor saying obstructed but isnt

Today I go to fly and I get a message saying gimbal motor to big plus it’s asking if clamp has been removed.
Of course the clamp is removed but as it goes thru the start up
I get this warning about motor is obstructed and the gimbal WILL NOT
CALIBRATE, I CANNOT RECENTER IT, OR ADJUST ROLL.
I HAVENT CRASHED IT AND ITS BEEN 3 weeks since last flight
And everything was perfect. I haven’t changed motors either.
It looks as if all the ribbon cables are routed fine too.
But the camera is tilted and the remote disconnects.
I’ve not done anything new so what’s up.
Please help any way possible and I will try to include pics and video of what it’s doing.

This last pic is after disassembly and before removing gimbal.
The liner around the battery connects looks as if battery acid leaked. WTH is this about

So the last three pics show the board where the batteries connect.
The liner looks abused and I’m wondering if a battery leaked or if the board suffered damage and why?
Can I clean it with alcohol or what should I look for?
I haven’t had any bad battery info from air data.
Boy I’m pissed

Maybe sitting on a roof for a month with 8 days of rain caused this?
 
Yes but corrosion is something that may take some time to become apparent. You asked if the board has suffered damage and why? I don’t think it’s any battery leakage or acid, but I’m sure others here may agree that it is most probably from when it spent prolonged time in rain and weather and the damage is finally become apparent.

You should explain nicely to DJI about it being lost on a roof for a month, through 8 days of rain, and maybe they will fix it under warranty because this is surely not through any negligence of yours. I know how you baby your drones to get the best from them.

How long have you had the M1P? If more than 6 months and you don't have care refresh+, that would explain the denial of warranty. Gimbal warranty is only 6mo.

Does the battery show any signs of leakage? If the quad was out in the rain, that would more likely explain the stains.
