Gimbal pitch smooth in

Hi all. I'm still fairly new to the Mavic air (and drones in general) Is there a setting that I am missing that will force the smooth-in of the gimbal to its fully horizontal position?

I have the smoothing set quite high and I am getting some beautiful low angle shots, pitching the camera up to reveal the full horizon, but I am finding that unless I release the pitch at the right time for it to 'smooth out', then the gimbal will hit its end position abruptly, often spoiling the shot.

Any ideas? Thanks.

The 'extend gimbal tilt limit' tab? I've given that a go and it seems like it'll work as it gives a little more head room. Just need to be careful not to overshoot I guess.

It seems like it should be such an obvious feature to include, to slow the gimbal down automatically before hitting horizontal.
