Gimbal Roll with Litchi

I'm interested to see how folks deal with the lack of gimbal roll adjustment in Litchi. I find that my horizon is often off a shade and when using the DJI app I make it a point to adjust this early in the flight. However, with Litchi I sort of have to live with it. I tried taking off with DJI GO4, adjusting the gimbal roll, landing, switching to Litchi then taking off again but that is a total pain. Just wondering if I'm missing something or what others are doing.

You can quite happily swap apps mid-flight. I often start up and take off with Go4 then swap over to Litchi for POI or Waypoint mission. As long as you stop the Go4 before firing up Litchi it seems to reconnect to the controller just fine I'm using iOS mainly (on an iPad mini) but have also done it a few times on Android (Samsung galaxy S7 edge)
I have had to remove the USB cable and re-connect I think twice but I have that at startup too.

But to get back to the original post, I thought the C1+EVWheel adjustment worked in Litchi too? I thought it was in the controller firmware not the application. I can't test it just at the moment - can anybody confirm/refute this?
