I got the idea to leave the camera running at the end after watching a real video of a mavic submarine that crashed in a river. The camera kept recording underwater.

Did you use a GoPro or something for that last shot into the water? I am going to go out on a long limb here and assume you didn't actually crash the Mavic into the water just for the shot?

Yes. A GoPro with a small parachute that also floats.

I also noticed in real videos of guns shooting at drones the actual shot is nearly invisible. In this video, I cut the end off a shotgun shell, emptied it, and filled with flour. This special ammo unfortunately made it so she couldn't rack the slide to chamber a round.

Whaaaat? you modified a shell to fire flour?! that's kinda cool... I assumed you had done it as a digital effect! In fact, I assumed the gun was fake! I'll have to get used to that over here (recently moved to the US from the UK).

The "parachute" was a tall kitchen trash bag attached to the GoPro with electrical tape.

I wanted something to slow the rate of decent just a little. I was kind of surprised that this floated.
