I have a Mavic Pro model L1P with smart controller. Ultimately, I'm interested in using an Android (or iPad) for flight control rather than the SC because I want to be able to use different flight control software. I see that the "regular controller" (the GL200A model) allows for a mobile device connection. However, DJI doesn't sell that in the U.S, but I got one from eBay anyway. The GL200A won't link (pops up with "binding" briefly and then returns to "connecting" and never connects).
The primary question: can anyone suggest how I can use an Android mobile device with the Mavic Pro L1P model?
Secondary question: is this GL200A controller a door stop with this L1P Mavic model?
P.S. I have done a workaround on alternative flight control software on the SC but found that the SC is too slow for alternative flight control apps.
