Just wondering if anyone can explain this to me. On my flight records my Max altitude shows as 900+m! Actually says I recorded that flight yesterday but when you go to flight records nothing is over 40m. So what gives?
Sorry. Am a novice. I searched but didn't find my answer.
What they're supposed to be: Top altitude is the highest point you've launched from (AMSL). Max alt is the max height flown above the launch point for that flight.
The 3.8 m difference between your flight starting altitude and the top altitude is close enough to consider them the same, given that the altitudes are barometer based.
