I currently have three Intelligent Flight Batteries sitting in my case with LED lights indicating that they are (according to the manual) at a "battery level" of between 25% and 38%. Seems like the perfect spot to store them, while not in flight. But I'm learning through this discussion that I really shouldn't be paying attention to the battery level percentage. I should be paying attention to voltages and temperatures. Well, these three batteries are quite obviously at room temperature right now, because not a one of them has flown since yesterday. But what's the easiest way to check voltage? Or does voltage monitoring mean anything only while in flight, and power is being drawn from the battery cells?
