Mostly you see complaints so when they did something good I felt I should say so here. I got an MP Fly More Combo last summer. Last weekend when I tried to charge the RC, it would not charge despite trying different cables and power sources. Created a warranty repair ticket with DJI on 3/4/19. shipped it the same day using their prepaid ground UPS label and dropped it at UPS for shipment from northern Illinois to their Texas facility. It arrived there on Wednesday and was repaired (new main board) and shipped on Thursday and got it back Saturday when it was delivered by UPS. Even included instructions for rebinding it to the MP. Extremely happy with this experience.

The ratio of people who want to post about negative experiences far outweighs the desire to post about positive... that, and the fact that this forum is used for troubleshooting, will always show a very skewed representation of what is actually happening.

I don't know if this is what caused you problem with Charging, but I have read that we need to be very careful to plug in the charging cord correctly when recharging the RC. Apparently if you don't have the correct orientation, you can force the plug in, but it will damage the charging port and eventually render it not usable.

Just to barrel in - I managed to take my Mavic 2 for an impromptu swim. Apart from the fact that their website doesn't update particularly frequently, my dealings with DJI, under Care (although it says Care Refresh) were excellent. Got the drone back (well, a new one) in just over a week.

It’s true that we hear mostly the bad experiences with DJI on this forum. It’s the same for any forum.
I’m glad the OP decided to post a good experience and others chimed in. Helps to balance the warped view one can take away from reading others troubles.

In all likelihood it was my fault but they covered it under warranty anyway. I have purchased the cable with the magnetic plug that remains in the plug socket and lets you hook up the cable magnetically. Hope to avoid future problems that way.
