That is good news, maybe like the difference between phone size screens and ipad mini 4/5 screens, they can show more info with the new size ?
If so, we might see the great extras like attitude bowl in Fly, be very handy.
If the changes extended to use with the Mini, well that could be very helpful to show pilots when the wind is starting to affect their mini at various altitudes.

Although when using the app, you have to select which drone you are using it for.

The release notes simply say that it supports the iPad. And it does work with the Mini.

i only got as far as doing the update then logging on the the app and i got a full screen
but looking at Sars post above, it looks like they have also addressed the issue of being able to read the white wording, about remaining time sats locked etc, as they now have a black background contrast like the go4 app has

My biggest complaint about DJI fly is how they removed the battery status bar ad changed it to a countdown timer. I do a lot of flights over water and being able to see how long i have on site before i hit the yellow and have to return is very important to me and a necessity to me.
That is a major major reason why i will not get this drone. Im not new to flying so i don't need or more importantly want a simple interface. As soon as DJI allows you to fly this drone with Go4 or introduce an advanced mode. This wont be a drone for me

when the fly app first came out it was not optimised for the larger ipads so instead of getting a full screen you had a black band all around ,with this update it fills the screen like the go4 app does now

Got to be able to operate with my Crystal Sky monitors before I make a purchase. Any chance at that?

For clarity - the actual camera image size is the same but now the telemetry has been moved off the image onto the black areas on the top and bottom. This is a major improvement but particularly helpful for the visibility of the battery level and satellite info.

They just need to change the battery back to the sliding line and they will have something good. I know it’s something small but will make a drastic improvement to the app

I wonder when DJI will include in the DJI FLY to be able to broadcast live? there are many things missing to introduce to the app I see it very limited even, like the compass interference meter.

The only problem I see now is that when the satellites are in red you can't see any of the numbers as well as when they are in white, currently I use a Samsung A7 (2018), although I concluded that it does not depend on the font of the app, but the one that has the device, if the device has a font with thickness in the DJI Fly you will see that reflected.

I have written DJI about CS use. No answer. It will not fit in the current remote phone holder due to the battery on the back of the CS. It will take a special mount I think. I use Flight Deck with MP1 now. Works perfect.

From what I understand, the CS will not work with the Mini. I seem to recall reading on the DJI forum, that it had something to do with 32 vs 64 bit apps. Apparently...if memory serves...the CS is 32 bit and the GoFly app is 64.
