Had a fun opportunity to try out the DJI Inspire 3 last night with Kara Murphy who is doing the review of the Inspire 3 for DPReview (which is back now, due to a partnership with GearPatrol).
Over the course of 3 pairs of batteries we took turns swapping controllers to either be the pilot or the camera person since the Inspire 3 has a dual operator setup. Thanks to Richard Kates and Dylan Kaeigh Cutler lending their 35mm and 50mm to Kara, I was also able to try out those focal lengths as well.
Got some near sunset footage as well as some after dark videos. Some serious hardware like a car sitting next to my DJI Air 2S, the DJI RC Plus controller was also something else.
Going to get ahold of some of the footage later so I can try some editing with it. Initial footage was H264, but when I got the camera controller for my turn I switched it over to ProRes 422 HQ for the night stuff. Couldn't try CineDNG since a license for it wasn't purchased on the unit.
