Greetings all, Flying from the Hudson Valley in NY. Really excited by all the positive conversation here I hope to post and graduate from lurker. What a wild privilege it's been to fly!
I started with a Mini 3 Pro 3 or so years ago and loved it, eventually I fell into the world of FPV and let the warranty lapse on my Mini 3 Pro stupidly. Recently pulled it out again and chased a freighter down the Hudson river, got gorgeous shots of it cutting through the water and got hooked on the platform again. The next day I capture an even more glorious ship, twice the size, further reigniting my passion, in the process of this core memory formation I slam into a bridge column while tracking it under said bridge. A week later I'm happily holding the Air 3S (and refresh), so thrilled by Vision Assist it gives me so much more piece of mind while while strafing I had no idea the tech was there.
A confused question or two to anyone who'll entertain them, I use the RC 2 and the screens brilliant but I want to move to a larger screen, the M1 12.9" IPad is cheapest 1000 nits display I can find at 600 used, is 1000 nits that big a deal? Does it throttle brightness easily?
Also, does anyone figure the Air 3S Goggles 3 implementation will get more functionality than we have with the Air 3? Passing through vision assist or battery info. I know DJI is a black box for information but just curious if there's opinions on the direction of the wind.
