Just purchased a Pro Platinum, should be here on Monday! this is my first drone purchase so im really new to the drone industry. Started my studies for the 107 because I like to do things responsibly. Also starting day one I will be logging all flight plans & times. I dont know if I need to be this detailed but I guess it doesnt hurt HA!

Thanks in advanced for any help recieved

Duane

Welcome to Mavic Pilots, KG7. The Part 107 is only necessary should you plan to make some monies with your new drone. It's not needed for just the pure enjoyment of flight and making your own 'home videos' and such. Good on ya to be thinking responsibly though! Take your time going through all the settings in the Go4 app, or whichever flying app you choose to use. Get to know your bird pretty good before you set 'er free into the wild. Take good care of her and she'll come back home to ya every time. ;)

I am a landscape photographer and sell my photos, I figure it best to have the 107 under my belt if I start adding some of the drone photos to my portfolio.

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :)
