Hello fellow pilots...

Mavic Pro Fly More Combo - New off eBay, 4 days old not yet flown - Batteries charged, one faulty, DJI responded to case on Sunday (!!) and UPS will collect in a day or so to replace with a new one...

One reason I haven't flown, has a clue in the title ;), I live by a rather busy airport... what is obvious is the DJI latest maps are less restrictive that the CAA maps, see below... Look at the X marks is my spot... in the DJI map I am just OK.. CAA map, a complete no-no ! We have a 400ft limit in zones but not in no-fly zones obviously, same as US I see.

So I am looking for a place nearby to fly that has no animals, people, buildings, large ducks and jetplanes.. I need to drive obviously !

I love photography and video creation... mostly for nature and sport... so I have to be very careful on the sport front with all the laws as I mainly do running events (hobbyist not commercial)... Drones are a way to expand my main hobby... very excited

Yeah Bud! Your opening title made my weary brow lift!!!
Welcome aboard and hopefully, people more local to you can give you local advice??!
Generally, we are all here for the same thing and the tech is the same any where in the world, so any questions...ask away!

Welcome to Mavic Pilots .
I hope you will find our site helpful and look forward to any input , photo's/video's you might post .
Don't be shy and ask anything if you can't find it by searching . Thumbswayup

You're so far into the Heathrow Zone that you could park on the runway :D

You could go to Richmond Park, there's an RC flying field there (or you could be more adventurous)

Thanks for the tip, I just read up on it... (Pity Windsor Great Park prohibits drones... but I can see why)

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :)
