Yo,
I go by wingbotics...
I had toy drones and have very good eye hand coordination by my own standard.
So I flew quite a bit (mostly in door) before but all were small and cheap.
After a year of thinking (between Phantom 4 and Mavic pro), three months ago , I finally coughed up over $1,000 for Mavic pro and other additional accessories for it:
  1. Mavic pro
  2. Marco Polo tracker--the version of impact and water proof. Just received on Thursday. Mounting?! Huh!
  3. Red decal for easy visual searching in case of mishaps.
  4. 2 Powerextra batteries.
  5. One set of carbon fiber propellers. Yet to arrive.
  6. Will invest more as it goes.
Now I found your forum to proudly announce that I've advanced to the next level of aero flying exploration, adventure, etc.
So far, I had about 20 sorties with each roughly 20 minutes of fly time. Farthest about 9,000 feet and highest 400 ft. There was one close call (in split second) to... Should've just bought the care plan. Anyway that I could buy the plan again?
I would need to learn to log the fly time and milage from either the drone or the controller.
I'm FAA registered and now I'm pleased to be a member of the Mavic Pilots forum.
Fly safely, considerately and responsibly.

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :)

Yes, you can still buy DJI Care Refresh from DJI here.

Since your Mavic was activated over 48 hours ago, you'll need to submit a video to DJI to prove your Mavic is in working order. You can find more details about that verification process here.

Thank you for the warm welcome and help offered.
msinger, appreciate your pointers. Yeah, mine is already 2-month old since opening. So, would the plan (if I buy) start from the time of the care purchase or the Mavic pro opening?
Thank you.

DJI Care Refresh is good for one year from the date it's activated on DJI's website (not from the date the Mavic was purchased).

Indeed! I got some good feed on mounting my MP tracker now. Very good sources of innovation. Still exploring. Thank you!
