Yo,
I go by wingbotics...
I had toy drones and have very good eye hand coordination by my own standard.
So I flew quite a bit (mostly in door) before but all were small and cheap.
After a year of thinking (between Phantom 4 and Mavic pro), three months ago , I finally coughed up over $1,000 for Mavic pro and other additional accessories for it:
So far, I had about 20 sorties with each roughly 20 minutes of fly time. Farthest about 9,000 feet and highest 400 ft. There was one close call (in split second) to... Should've just bought the care plan. Anyway that I could buy the plan again?
I would need to learn to log the fly time and milage from either the drone or the controller.
I'm FAA registered and now I'm pleased to be a member of the Mavic Pilots forum.
Fly safely, considerately and responsibly.

- Mavic pro
- Marco Polo tracker--the version of impact and water proof. Just received on Thursday. Mounting?! Huh!
- Red decal for easy visual searching in case of mishaps.
- 2 Powerextra batteries.
- One set of carbon fiber propellers. Yet to arrive.
- Will invest more as it goes.
