Gidday all,
Was wondering and trying to work out how or if you can permanently cache a map area for use when a mobile data signal is not available, e.g. SAR pattern in a remote area. Have done it once then it seems to disappear. Thanks to all.

Depends on the device, in my experience using Android you can but with Apple you can’t.
When I had the hated iPad once I powered it off or closed the app the map was no more.

Yes, thanks, was using an iPad and had the same problem of the cached maps disappearing.
