I discovered the joy of a video compression tool today. Maybe I'm behind the times but, I have slow internet speeds and it takes about an hour per minute to upload to youtube. This Handbrake compressed a 2.4 gb video down to 459 mb in 15 minutes. I used an 8 1/2 minute video I uploaded back in the summer that took over 8 hours to upload to see if the quality was still there. This time it took 1 hour and 12 minutes and the quality is the same. I can't believe all the times I had to upload all night while sleeping. I am just amazed. Often I would elect not to make a video with My Mavic Air because while a video was uploading I couldn't do anything else on-line until it was done. Here is the video I just ran through the compression. You don't have to watch the whole thing to realize the quality is still good. {Am I just behind the times and the only one that didn't know?)
