3 Matheson Park and Marina Coral Gables, Florida

Our weather finally got cooler (e.g.: less than 90 degrees F.)and it is now possible to go outside.

Matheson Park and Marina is a nearby park that is my go-to place for practice (e.g.: no tree canopies, wires, etc.). It provides great views of a marina, and downtown Miami, and great lagoon that looks like South Pacific. I submitted the still images last week. Here is the final video which I worked 6 1/2 hours on today. It is 3:1/2 minutes. Best viewed full screen.

I regretted, as we almost all do, not going back another early morning for a better sunrise. The forecast was for clear skies but the horizons at sunrise here are mostly clouded.

FAA Drone Regulation: Operation Over People (107.39)

Last I checked, flying over people was still illegal unless you have a wavier (do you) or a drone that fits the appropriate category (is that the case?) Or, or properly installed AVSS PRS Equipment.

Last I checked, flying over people was still illegal unless you have a wavier (do you) or a drone that fits the appropriate category (is that the case?) Or, or properly installed AVSS PRS Equipment.

The way I read (107.39) is "sustained flight" over people and crowds. I don't think the FAA cares about transversing over people and moving vechicles.
