I feel your pain, been there and done that. I flew large RC Nitro's for years and the first guy that helped me told me if you have not crashed your not flying.

Yes the Mavic Pro has Foward Opstical Avoidance Sensor.!
and yes they are activated By default when your flying Mavic
...But we Novice Don't Care.!

Still drive our bad boy(MP) right into those dang Tree's
Secret is More speed..... and sometime the right angle... last minute vear in there Hard
Thats How you do it.
