Happy with .600 and 4.0.8 for 7+ months now cant fly?

Ive been running .600 and 4.0.8 on a ipad for abut 7 months. Zero issues, always been able to fly literally anywhere, never forced to upgrade.

Today i got that Huawei Ascend XT2 and loading it with 4.1.15 which immediately updated its self to 4.1.18. It said i couldn't fly unless i upgraded. I then down graded to 4.0.8 and same issue. Plugged back in my ipad still running 4.0.8 (which worked and flew a few minutes earlier) and now it wont let me fly until i upgrade the aircraft.

Im hesitant to upgrade since I likely wont be able to fly around my yard anymore with my understanding of .1000.

How can i stay with .600 or even .700?

Try reinstalling the app or possibly doing factory reset of the phone and starting from scratch; if not, explore options of installing modded Go 4 app that won't nag you about the updates.

Yes, and like i said, i few it this afternoon with the ipad. I plugged in my new android phone and bam, everything (both ipad and android) are "forced locked"


I just tried:
deleted dji4 app.
airplace mode (no internet)
installed apk 4.0.7
dumbeldore flashed .700 again.
powered up... forced locked


Its almost like DJI put a virus on these so you have to upgrade

Fixed! kind of.
I used the dumbledore tool "spark unlock" and kept the wifi off on the phone. Flying again!
I'm using .700 and 4.0.10

Only issue is i can't turn on wifi to get maps or it will lock it Again
