No. He visualized the double-helix structure of DNA while tripping on LSD. Interestingly, FRANCIS CRICK had an IQ below 115. That is better than average but not "gifted" let alone "genius."

As much as this doesn't shock me, it isn't proof that LSD is good for the brain.

FWIW, I was given LSD when I was around 3 years old. Short version, my uncle was staying with the fam. I was "sick" and he thought it would make me feel better.
That was the story he fed my mom before he got a boot in his ***.

I actually remember the episode. It wasn't fun. I was terrified.
