Has anyone noticed that the AEB Photo mode for Mavic 4 Pro is significantly slower than the Mavic 3 Pro?

Are you shooting 100mp or 25mp output. I feel the 25MP 3 and 5 shot AEB is very fast. The 100MP process takes a considerable longer time to write. Especially if I am using an external card.

It seems to be happening on both MPs, with not that much of a difference between them. I was doing some testing since I received the drone today. It's the one with the internal SSD.

What matters is, are you shooting 25 MP or 100 MP.
The 100 MP files are much larger and take longer to write.

It should be. The files are 25% larger at 25MB vs. 20MB.
Even more dramatic, if recording at 100MB vs. 20MB.

I see. It looks like I’ll need to change the way I approach this, especially during sunsets, sunrises, or when clouds are moving fast since the sky changes so quickly. I’ve been flying drones since 2019, and this is the first time I can remember it feeling this slow. Thanks, everyone. I was a bit worried that I might have received a defective one since I wasn’t able to get the drone through my usual channels.

AEB mode for RAW is really overkill. If you switch to JPEG with AEB for a fast moving situation, you'll still be able cover the entire exposure latitude of RAW without the excessive delay of RAW files, especially now that AEB gives you 7 brackets of .7 EV instead of only 5. +/- 2.1 stops should be plenty.

Are you using the same SD cards in both the 3 and the 4? Maybe swap them around and test each platform again. I have found some big differences in brands although they were rated similarly.

I am not using any SD cards at the moment. I am using the SSD version.

Thanks for the tip, GadgetGuy. I will do some testing on that as soon as I have the time.

Thanks all for the help!!
