I know when it was first released that some people were having problems with it getting held in customs.

Has the situation changed at all?

DJI told me in chat that they would ship out of Hong Kong and that their prices already includes Customs.

But if Customs won't release without additional fees, will DJI let you cancel and refund your money?

I purchased (4) DJI AIR 3 S drones w CareRefresh from Dronepoint in Canada last January. I received all of them in 4 days w/o any issues. I believe I still see them as being available but they are not at the same price when I purchased them.

The issue hasn't been Customs fees or tariffs, but U.S. Customs holds, where your merchandise sits in Customs for months waiting for holds to be cleared, ultimately being returned to the shipper, and never delivered to you, leaving you trying to get your money back from the shipper.

If you pay your money, you are gambling.
Felling lucky?

Find a reputable U.S. seller that already has it in stock in their U.S. warehouse, making sure they aren't taking some kind of pre-order! The clue is the delivery date. Should be within a week or less!

Dronepoint's website currently states:

Shipping to USA:
Expedited Parcel are used for shipping to USA using Canada post service. Customer will be responsible for import duties or taxes.

So, expect to pay additional unknown amounts on top of the current price Dronepoint charges you.

I got both my Air 3 and Air 3S from Adorama. Of course before all this Tariff Crap started!
Didn't have any problems with Customs either.

HERE'S THE KEY to buying drones today (make sure they have drones IN-STOCK )
Adorma,DJI Store ,B&H camera will say right on thier page OR you can call them
I buy and sell on Ebay all the time But buying big ticket items from overseas can be a gambel
just my two cents ,Please NO haters

Your probably correct... What I know is that I paid $1,559.99 for each of the (4) Air3S drones I purchased. Of the $1,559.99 $65.99 was shipping.

This wierd on my Air 3 S purchase. I bought an Air 3s fly more combo from DJI online store. They shipped the drone and 1 battery in a week. But hey had issues sending the carry bag, props, charger, and cables. So they refunded me the difference. So I then bought 2 batteries, and an LKTop fast charger, and extra props from amazon. I already had the rc 2 controller from my mini 4 pro. It worked out well for me.

Hey a2tomm, I took a look at the master airscrew website. I've always used dji propellers just because. In your opinion are the airscrew props a good investment? I read they increase flight time, are lower noise level, and good propellers. I just have no real person knowledge of them. And you are the first person I have had contact with that may have insight on them. I know you are not responsible for them or anything, I would just like your opinion.

I really stated using them because of the color ,but I must admit they increase battery life ,the sound is nominal ,I have used them on all my drones since the original mavic drone and have owned all at one time or another ,I have a backpack with the Air 3s ,4 pro and the Neo and yes all sport the Master Airscrew props

When you refer to the 4 pro, is that the mini 4 pro or the mavic 4 pro? Just curious? I may grab a set or 2 for my drones. I use the mavic 4 pro, mini 4 pro, matrice 4T, and the air 3s. I did not see props for the matrice or the mavic 4 pro on the site. Maybe a work progress for the mavic 4 pro. I think I'll just stay with the dji props for the matrice 4T due to it being a little more expensive. Thank you sir for your opinion.

Yes the Mini 4 pro is awesome The Mavic 4 Pro sounds like an awesome drone but 4 grand or better is best left to the folks who wanna make a living with it .I am 73 I have been retired since I was 52 .I purposely don't make money with my hobby as all my drones are insured by State farm and DJI care fresh program I have used both more than once Personally I think the Mavic 4 pro has allot more than I would ever need .The new controller looks pretty spify but 16 hundred bucks is way over the top

Sir you are too darn funny. But I see your points. The mavic 4 pro is just a toy. I have my part 107 and I just want to make videos and have fun. But I may post some on youtube so thats why I got the part 107. If I vied near you, id let you fly my mavic 4 and matrice to see what they are all about. The matrice 4T is a whole nother animal. Its just plain amazing. All I was interested in was the thermal. But when I got it I realized it was way more then just that. I mean it has a range finder, very good night vision, I can focus out to 112x. I mean its really amazing what it can do. All in all I'm pretty much like you as in wanting to have fun. Oh and one more thing. I bought the low noise props from DJI for the matrice 4T. And tell ya the truth they dont make any difference in sound to me. They are fatter therefore lower the flight time. Which was a big disappointment to me. But just thought id share my reason for asking about the Master airscrew props. Thanks again sir

FWI: There are a lot of positives for the Airscrew Props, however, one negative I have heard reported several times in they area more brittle, the result if you nick a small twig or other object they will break apart increasing your chance of wreck/damage. Where the DJI original props may scuff but keep flying. This is not my opinion, only repeating what I have seen numerous times in different groups.

Be cautious on this one a2tomm. That's the combo I bought and all I got was the drone and one battery as stated above in other reply. But it worked out for me as you know.
