Has anybody ordered the Mavic 4 from Ebay? Shipped from Korea.

Ahh, didn't see the state location, valid point.

Every drone I've ever purchased (air 2, mav 3, avata 2) I've also bought (and used) care refresh at least once on each. I push the limits when I'm filming. If I was able to purchase it for the Mav 4, I'd very likely do it.

That being said, I talked to my state farm agent and a personal articles policy for the Mav 4 (basically they cut you a check for 4 grand if anything happens - including theft or losing it in the river...which just happened to my Mav 3) only costs 60 bucks for the entire year. Which is a lot less money for more inclusive coverage. So no care refresh isn't a deal breaker for me. Honestly, I usually go with both care refresh and insurance during the first year of a new drone. Just to make sure all bases are covered...because I know that chances are very high that I will use one of the two.
After you use it ONE TIME they will never insure you again.

we think the same! LOL... I was going to say the same thing. Oh I forgot to mention. I get deals on the Mavic 3 Pro. Less than one grand for the drone itself, no battery... used but in like new condition. Then good luck replacing your Mavic 4!
I've never used any Care Refresh that I bought because I haven't drowned or crashed any drones upon which I purchased it. Eventually, refurb Mavic 4 Pro's will become available from DJI, should I ever need one. By then, tariffs should be sorted out, and I'll still be enjoying my $1399 RC Pro 2 (based upon Adorama's current price) included in the $4,000 USD Creator Combo from Canada. My Mavic 3 Pro is also still a decent backup to the Mavic 4 Pro with the RC Pro.

we will just have to wait it out unless you want to pay up to one thousand dollars more on eBay than it was on day one. Covert Drones has some for $5400 I believe. (not on eBay but they are a USA DJI dealer)
Interesting offering.
Importantly, CovertDrones doesn't charge sales tax as they don't meet the minimum thresholds of sales yet. At least that's the way it appears. That means their $5400 price is only $400 more than it will be at B&H at $4600 plus $400 in sales tax.

It's clearly a gray market purchase, acquired internationally.

Oddly, they activate it prior to shipping, perhaps to avoid shipping you a DOA.
However, strangely, they are shipping the additional two batteries separately a week later, by ground, instead of air from FL, like the drone and one battery plus everything else.

"PLEASE NOTE: When you receive your new drone it will only have 1 battery. The remaining 2 will show up around a week later. This is due to shipping restrictions when being sent over via express methods."

"Important Disclaimer:

"Please note that DJI has explicitly stated that the DJI Mavic 4 Pro is not sold in the USA. Any DJI Mavic 4 Pro that is imported into the USA will not be covered under any DJI warranty. This means that DJI Care Refresh nor Manufactures Warranty are NOT honored by DJI for this product, regardless of purchase location. Additionally, the drone will undergo activation prior to shipping. Rest Assured the drone can still be bound to your account and the drone is completely unused."

"We highly recommend securing your investment with insurance through State Farm’s Personal Articles Policy or a reputable third-party insurance provider. This proactive step will help protect your drone from accidental damage or loss, as DJI will not offer any support or warranty services for this model in the USA."

"By purchasing this product, you acknowledge and accept these terms."

Unfortunately, State Farm's refuses to cover drones in CA under their PAP!

^I have heard several reports/rumors of customs stopping drone combos and removing some of the batteries; customers are finding their packages missing batteries. Seems the proactive shipping approach is to send them separately and to some degree, DJI did this earlier this year and last year when they separated items no only just for value purposes.
