Where To Buy??

I dont think US Customs has the infrastructure in place to handle all the new tariffs. On the 29th every international package coming into the US would be subject to import duties and fees. I have a package on the way from China valued at $100. It just made it through customs with no fees. There should have import fees due with the minimum $800 exemption gone. They would have mountains of paperwork to do. Customs delays would be weeks or months.
I have a couple friends via the Anchorage airport, Gemini and Qwen, who managed to sneak into the freight hangers earlier today and snap a few pictures of the incoming shipments; I believe they captured the drones from K-Wave coming in from South Korea during processing through customs. I guess we know how they manage to get their drones into the country so quickly and so easily, pretty obvious at this point. 😊 ;)

That is hilarious. When I first started reading without looking at the pictures, I was thinking, "That is pretty rude to blow up his friends like that." Then when I looked down, I realized what you did. This is hilarious!

I sent K-Wave a very polite message this morning asking them for an update; I was nice because I did not want them to cancel my order. I will let you know what they say.

I bought my M4P/RC2 Pro out of Korea on eBay and had it in FOUR days! FEDEX brought it through Memphis hub and it blew right through Customs there. I took it to State Farm and insured it for $75/year. If it goes down, I'm covered. I've been flying it for about 10 days now and it is head and shoulders above everything I have flown so far. **** near bullet proof if you have any experience. I don't shoot vertical, so I couldn't care less about the gimble range issue. Other than that, it is absolutely a dream to fly. Great range, even in urban areas and has ADS-B which alerted me of an aircraft (low flying helo) approaching at my altitude. Pop-up map with his location, direction of flight, altitude and my location and altitude. I got about 30 seconds of warning! Plenty of time to drop 100' near the bridge I was flying and that was pretty cool I had NO idea this would have ADS-B, but it does! LOVE this thing! Got it for about $1K lower than Adorama or B&H. Bought it with the RC2 Pro which I can't say enough good things about! And I LOVE that I can charge three batteries in about 90 minutes. I got a small power inverter for the car to charge while traveling between launch locations. I still have a Mini 4 Pro and Avata 2 for other types of flying and convenience. If you can afford it, get one and don't look back! You'll be glad you did! :)

The latter. Mine arrived completely unopened and was a breeze to register. NO PROBLEM! I got mine here:

102_store
Greensun21
T-909 Poongrim I-won Plus
170 Seohyeon-ro, Bundang-gu,
Seongnam, 13590
KR

They were all over it in short order! Tracking number same day. Pick-up the very next morning. Went through Alaska and down to Memphis, where it cleared through Customs with NO stops! Flight to FL and I had it in four days from the time I punched send to purchase! Tracked the entire way. These folks know that they're doing! Hopefully they've gotten some more in! :)

I received the following update from K-Wave for an order for a Mavic 4 Pro Creator combo purchased on July 30th. I will continue to provide updates until it is received. Here's hoping!

Dear Customer,
We apologize for the significant delay in the shipping schedule. . Your order is expected to be shipped within this week.

I ordered a M4P and RC2 last week on the 6th from K-Wave on Ebay. Before I put my order in I asked what the Creator Combo "pre-order" meant and then what the Fly More and RC2 meant by "In Stock." They replied that there were more Creator Combos coming in and the stock that was inbound would be used to fill those on their waitlist. And if I did wish to order the Creator Combo I would be on the next list for the next Tuesday, at the time I am writing this, that was yesterday.

So I ordered the Fly More and RC2 because Pre-Order and waitlist with the M4P just screamed it will take forever or not at all. As soon as I placed my order I got a FedEx tracking number and a delivery date between today, the 13th, and the 20th. An explanation that how it would be packed for customs, etc. I still do not have it and per FedEx tracking, they do not have it yet so I am guessing the 20th now is more than likely.

Now, my experience with ordering MacBooks and iPhones that came direct from China would show a tracking number and it will stay that way for quite awhile until all the sudden I would get a cleared customs in Anchorage, AK. and then it was a day or two before arrival. One of two things has happened, 1. they lied and I am on a waitlist or 2. what I just stated about my experiences with Apple products coming from China.

What have your experiences been like ordering from K-Way?

It should show tracking on FedEx as soon as it is picked up from the seller. My seller was DW Store but found out it ships from same address as KWave. I bought 2, each a week apart. Both on Thursday evening which is Friday in Korea. I received tracking for both Sunday evening PST, Monday in Korea. The 1st one was with FedEx early Monday Morning PST delivered on Thursday morning. The 2nd one shipped early Tuesday morning and arrive on Wednesday afternoon. Overnight shipping! I was following tracking on FedEx all the way from Korea to US. 1st one Korea to Anchorage/customs to Memphis to LA. The 2nd Korea to Japan to LA to Memphis/customs back to LA.
