There is no "DJI's Amazon store" so they are not an official dealer; sorry you were lead to believe otherwise. There are no official DJI dealers anywhere to be found on Amazon.com.Has anyone used the seller "thinkzone" on Amazon? DJI's Amazon store links to them as an official dealer, they claim to be an official dealer, they seem to have good feedback but not as much as Ebay, and they also sometimes beat Ebay prices with free shipping. It's a 3rd party seller, but the shipping is fulfilled by Amazon meaning their stuff is already in an Amazon warehouse. They seem to be the real deal.
As a side note, I was interested in Amazon's Asurion insurance but it has bad reviews for drone coverage. Anyone here have experience with that? (DJI Care Refresh not an option in America.) Unfortunately it looks like our only reasonable option in America is to fly uninsured, homeowner's insurance and State Farm etc. don't seem like viable options. I'm not part 107 for some of the other options I've read about. We're going to be fixing drones like Cuba fixes American cars before long.
Thanks for those details, I will read that thread. DJI's website has a link to "Amazon DJI Official Store." Also just because the shipping is "fulfilled by Amazon" doesn't necessarily mean "their stuff is already in an Amazon warehouse" so you might want to read this thread, lots of good "Amazon" details in it:
Both Fly More Combo and Fly More Combo Plus are available for a super low price. Don't know if it's legit but it's Prime so Amazon can back up the refund.

Confusing isn't it. Almost deceptive. The link on DJI.com says Amazon is an official DJI seller. As you know, you can't really buy a drone from Amazon since they don't have any to sell, certainly not any of the newer model. Thanks for those details, I will read that thread. DJI's website has a link to "Amazon DJI Official Store." DJI - Official Website
From that Amazon store, it further links to a 3rd party seller "thinkzone" claiming to be "DJI's official authorized dealer." I don't know the credibility in all of that, but it appears to be a solid connection coming directly from DJI's website. If the seller is lying about being an authorized dealer, I would not buy from them on principle alone regardless of their good feedback.
Yes I'm in the middle of reading all 10 pages of that thread now. Thankyou, there have been a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people on this website. I should have known to test out other sellers from Amazon's DJI virtual webpage. It's linking to sellers like "Northfront" who has 50% bad reviews. I don't blame Amazon for compiling a page of all DJI products. The problem is with DJI.com under their "Official Online Stores" tab FALSELY CLAIMING that Amazon's virtual webpage is actually their "Amazon DJI Official store." To make things worse, half of these dishonest Chinese vendors on Amazon are playing into the scam and falsely claiming to be "official DJI dealers." The more I learn about DJI, like GadgetGuy exposing DJI for Mini 5 pro RID broadcasting, the more I understand why America is banning this dishonest company. I don't think it's "purely protectionism" as some have claimed. It's probably a mixture of both national security AND protectionism. I know people will hate me for saying that, but fact remains DJI has been caught blatantly lying multiple times. After further investigation and translating foreign language reviews of Chinese vendor fake official dealer "thinkzone" on Amazon, I'm seeing some people getting used batteries with 80 charges etc. There is no excuse for that to ever happen. 102 store on Ebay among several other Ebay sellers is still the best option, I don't recommend anyone to bother with Amazon regarding the drone market.Confusing isn't it. The DJI link doesn't vouch for the different sellers who sell their goods on or through Amazon.com. Using your DJI link, just search the other tabs and see if anyone is listed under each (Retail stores, authorized dealers, etc....). Really sad but the Amazon link called "Amazon DJI Official Store" is just a virtual webpage that Amazon created for convenience that rounds up all the DJI drones they are handling for the various sellers (whoever they are) but only some of them are backed by Amazon; none of them are backed by DJI. A buyer should not mistake that link for some sort of DJI endorsement. Hopefully that other thread will help clarify.
I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts and opinions on the topic but the Amazon page is quite confusing if you don't know what you are looking at. Yea things have changed a lot, I've been a seller on Ebay since 2002 and it's ironic how after Amazon has been dominating Ebay for the past 15 years, all of a sudden Amazon cannot compete with Ebay in the drone market. I know there are some Amazon sellers on this forum who will disagree, but there are no Amazon drone options with the level of feedback or thousands of transactions that Ebay offers. I'm interested if any Amazon sellers know how this happened? Is Ebay more accessible to the overseas market for these drones in some way, or does Ebay simply have better drone sellers and grew by word of mouth? Why would Ebay's 102 store not branch out to Amazon?I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts and opinions on the topic but the Amazon page is quite confusing if you don't know what you are looking at. In the end, I appreciate the ease and the straightforwardness of eBay (how ironic, I know) and I most certainly appreciate the sellers who appear to be working towards building a trustworthy relationship with buyers. Never have to worry about fake tracking numbers or box full of rocks or delay after delay after delay or different sellers coming and going. That goes a long way when you are dealing with $1k and $3k purchases. I remember earlier this century (early 2000s) there was absolutely no way I would buy *anything* more than $500 off eBay let alone certainly not from the Far East; it's really quite the turnaround.
I just received an Air 3S Fly More Combo from Thinkzone today purchased via Amazon Prime. It is brand new in the box with the tamper proof seal. Thinkzone was the only vendor that had a Prime option for the Air 3S and their pricing was very close to the best deals on eBay. With everything else being relatively equal, I prefer Amazon Prime because of the "no cost" and easy return policy. I have never had a problem with any DJI products but I am somewhat particular about my more expensive gadgets. As an example, if I thought a drone lens was decentered to a greater degree than what I considered was normal, I would like an easy option to return or replace that item. I have returned thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment (Amazon, BHPhoto) over the years so I am willing to pay a little extra money for that benefit.Yes I'm in the middle of reading all 10 pages of that thread now.
