I'd think you'd have the same reflection and possible air flow issues as with the clear one that came with it.

I like the idea of having our cameras in enclosed gimbal, but I think an effective one would be on the heavy side

Nope. Don't get those, you can get their ND filters but that thing is going to be all kinds of problems. I don't even use that bubble anymore. I think most of us only use them when flying in sport mode or when we first start out.
