Hi everyone. Just joined and excited to see what comes from this forum!!

I do have a problem I am hoping someone can help me with. I have updated my drone as usual and went to fly today and the video feed on the phone (and Go4 app) was freezing, distorting and had quite a lot longer lag...

To my knowledge I havent changed anything settings wise and I am using the supplied cables.

Anyone help out there??

There seems to be a problem with the most recent app on some devices.
If on android download an older version from somewhere like apk mirror, and turn off auto update for the go app at the play store page..

Check the Mavic discussions thread; a lot of people seem to be reporting what you've experienced. The fix might be reverting to the previous version of Go4, but read that thread for the full scoop; I'm not an expert on this newest fiasco.

And if you've updated to the very latest firmware, it's too late to give this advice, but for others: NEVER, EVER just blindly update to new firmware or versions of Go4, or you might have issues and/or blindly fall into a trap.

The trap, in this instance, is that the very latest firmware will block you from downgrading back to where you were, or any earlier version. Folks are looking into this, but it's unknown for now whether there will be a fix or not.

My Mavic is happily flying on modified version .700 firmware, which is quite a few months old, and won't be upgraded to any of the newer versions since then until I a) need whatever they might have added that's useful and b) am absolutely sure I'm not about to step into a bear trap, as with the latest firmware revision.

And I'm not going to put up with their stupid test in the latest Go4.

Has DJI removed older versions of Go4 from their FTP servers now?
If so, that's just mean and not the way to treat customers.
