I was doing a repair for someone, and he stated that he only had gimbal problems. As part of my 50 point inspection, I found that his LR arm joint was cracked under the skin he had applied. Easy for an owner to miss, if it isnt being looked for.
So, if you have crashed, and you have a skin on your Mavic, take a few minutes to peel off the skin and inspect for damage. You can always put the skin back on afterwards. If the skin tears or wont go back on because it was a cheap one to begin with, just go buy another and then you will feel like you have a new Mavic...
