I had a crash recently. Here is what happened:
Was trying to test cinematic mode and I took of near a lake but from a metal platform and as soon as I was at 20m high I let it hover a bit. At this point it gave me a warning strong interference fly with caution. I just briefly touched the controls and it started moving to the left accelerating . I hit pause but dint respond so it crashed in a tree at 20m. I could barely see it. I had to call the fire Department and they took it down for me (200 bucks).
Just before that I flew it 30 min over the lake taking off just beside this hollow metal platform just above the water (ground). And it never gave me a compass error so I still wonder what was the problem. Cinematic mode with its long breaking distance or interference of some kind? But still when I hit pause it should have stopped
