So I was out flying around over some marshlands yesterday (Newark, CA), when Amtrak decided to cruise by, about 1/2 mile away.
I pushed the drone up to about 100', and just let it shoot video of the train cruising by, turning now and then to keep it in frame.
And I got a *lovely* video, too!!
Well... by 'lovely', I mean the camera was absolutely smooth and steady, and all of the foreground plants and such were sharply in focus!! I could see all the tops of the plants contentedly waving at me!! The train, on the other hand, was just a distant blur...
and yes, I can still hear the drone giggling...
Even if I *had* known how to focus the camera, I wouldn't really have been able to focus all that effectively with my tablet...
Hopefully I can find some setting that lets me tell it 'focus on the moving thing', or something like that...
ITM, I'm amused by the experience...
