Just got my first Drone, a DJI Mini 2, and flew it today. Great video for something so small. I have a lot to learn, but being retired I have plenty of time.

You may have done it already, but if you haven't, take the TRUST test to have a copy with you when you fly.

FAA TRUST Online Portal for Recreational Drone Operators - Pilot Institute

Get your FAA TRUST Certificate of Completion to legally fly drones for recreational reasons in the United States.

Although you don't have too since you have a Mini 2, you could register with the FAA too.
