Hi guys, I've got my mavic couple of days but due to bad weather conditions I didn't have chance to fly properly. Only been out once and really enjoyed it. I've found plenty of really useful information on this forum. In two weeks time I'm going for holiday of my life and I'm sure mavic will help me to enjoy it even more. Looking forward to meet you all folks !!

Thank you already found tons of information about flight regulations and unfortunately I'll have to take mavic to Malaysia and Thailand in checked in baggage.

I'm sure batteries need to be in hand luggage

Yes it's correct, and only 2 batteries per person

Didn't know there was a limit, good job I don't normally fly as between me & the wife we take 7 batteries out with us

I'm not sure if this rule applies to all airlines, I've spoken to guy from Emirates via chat and that exactly what he told me. Also batteries got to be in lipo safe bags

Most airlines don't have a limit. However, you should check with your airline of choice before traveling. Frontier Airlines (for example) has a limit of 2 batteries for carry-on bags.
