Hi Forklift,

I’m in FL for the winter but live in Huntington in the summer. Welcome to the drone community.

If you’re brand new to the sport, please learn the airspace rules. Since you’re from Bohemia, you are likely in no-fly airspace without LAANC authorization. Islip (MacArthur) has a pretty wide area where flight is controlled from the surface up to 4100 feet. There are a number of apps that will show you where you can and cannot fly (without authorization).
