Got my first drone yesterday. So I'm a complete noob. I did manage to fly my Mavic Pro around the house a few times. I think I need a lot of practice before I take it out of Beginner mode.

Welcome to Mavic Pilots!

Try flying outside in a wide open area (with no trees or other nearby obstacles). It'll be much safer than trying to fly inside of a house.

Sorry, when I meant "around the house" I meant around the yard, and above the house. I would never fly it inside.

Thanks everyone. I was finally able to use my drone to take some arial videos for my backyard party. Any recommendations on how to edit the videos? I'm a noob when to comes to video editing as well.
