Hello from Strathmore Alberta

I just purchased my first drone, a Mavic Air. The weather here has not been great and I have only flown a couple of times, but things are looking better for next week.
I look forward to learning lots from you seasoned veterans!

Thanks! I actually downloaded the manual and started into it while I was waiting for my drone to be delivered. May as well kill some time and continue reading it since I can't fly.

Welcome from a Mavic Mini Pilot in Calgary. I’ve had a blast so far but like you we need to wait for warmer weather. Fly slow and close for awhile and be mindful of the wind. Download UAV FORECAST. It is a great app for wind speeds at different heights. I use it every flight.
